Furqan faces two new charges in break-and-enter investigation
The victim has been identified as Furqan Muhammad-Haroon, 22, of Toronto.
On Monday, April 7, 2008, 52 Division Major Crime officers started a break-and-enter investigation in the Front Street West/University Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- between November 2007 and April 2008, the accused was employed at a computer software company,
- on two separate occasions, the accused entered the main office area and removed a quantity of laptop computers and monitors.
On Monday, August 31, 2009, at 8:45 a.m., Furqan Muhammad-Haroon, 22, also known as Furqan Muhammad, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) two counts of break-and-enter.
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Monday, August 31, 2009, room 101, at 2 p.m.
