More than 200,000 people got the shot at Toronto Public Health clinics
Toronto Public Health vaccinated more than 200,000 people at mass immunization clinics held over seven weeks at 10 locations throughout Toronto. From October 26 until the clinics closed on Sunday, 228,934 people received the H1N1 vaccine at Toronto Public Health clinics, including those held at homeless shelters and drop-in centres.
Vaccine continues to be available at many doctors’ offices, clinics and community health centres. Toronto Public Health has distributed over one million doses of vaccine to other health care providers, including physicians, hospitals and long-term care facilities.
Clinics will be held in January in order to give children under three a second dose of H1N1 vaccine. These clinics will also provide another opportunity for the general public to get both seasonal and H1N1 vaccines. The clinics will be held at the following times and locations:

Saturday, January 16, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Scarborough Civic Centre
Wednesday, January 20, 4 – 8 p.m., North York Civic Centre
Thursday, January 21, 4 – 8 p.m., East York Civic Centre
Monday, January 25, 4 – 8 p.m., Etobicoke Civic Centre
Tuesday, January 26, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Metro Hall
Wednesday, January 27, 4 – 8 p.m., Scarborough Civic Centre
